Privacy policy
This site has no accounts and no forms to fill in. Every calculator runs in your browser: typing in a load, a length or a wire size doesn’t send anything anywhere. Your inputs leave your device only if you use a Share or Copy button yourself, which puts them into the page’s web address so you can save or send that link.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most hosts, Cloudflare keeps short technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security, under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy.
Visits
Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t track you across other sites.
Ads and cookies
When ads run on this site, they come from Google AdSense, and they pay for the site. Google and its partners, as third-party vendors, use cookies and similar technology to show those ads and to measure them. Google’s advertising cookies let it and its partners show you ads based on your visits to this site and to other sites on the internet. Google explains what it collects and how in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
You can turn off personalized ads from Google in My Ad Center, and opt out of personalized ads from many other ad companies at aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu. With personalized ads turned off you still see ads, but they’re based on things like the page you’re reading rather than your browsing history. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings.
If you’re in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Google shows you a consent message before any ad cookies are set, and you choose there whether to allow personalized ads. A privacy settings link on the page lets you change that choice later.
If you email me through the Contact page, I use your address only to reply. It isn’t added to a mailing list or shared with anyone.
No selling
I don’t sell visitor data, and beyond the technical logs above I don’t collect any myself. The only third-party code on this site is Cloudflare’s cookieless visit counter and, when ads run, Google’s ad code, both described above.
Your calculator inputs
Nothing you type into a calculator is stored by me, in a database or anywhere else. If you use Share or Copy, your inputs go only as far as wherever you paste or send that link.
Children
This site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
Any change to this policy updates the date at the top of this page. Questions go to the Contact page.
